"Engaging
Our Youth" Campaign Results

During the Engaging Our Youth
Global Service Action Campaign in August, Lions organized
projects youth can relate to - and encouraged their input in the
planning process. We're pleased to report that more than 850 Lions
clubs in 60 countries took part in this campaign to mobilize youth to
help their communities. We received reports of more than 1,200
projects, totaling more than 87,000 Lion service hours that gave
local youth a chance to learn valuable life skills while emphasizing
the role of service. Learn more
information about our Global Service Action Campaigns.

New
Club Branch Officer Structure
The Club Branch
program offers individuals who see a need to help their
community, but have less than 20 members, the chance to form a club
branch with five or more members. On July 1, 2010, the Lions Clubs
International Board of Directors approved an officer structure to
help prepare club branches to convert to traditional Lions clubs. The
new structure allows club branches to elect a president, secretary
and treasurer. For more information, contact
the Membership Programs and New Clubs Marketing Department.
